Set up your mobile device to access school email and other Office 365 resources

If you wish to access school email and other Office 365 resources from your personal mobile phone or tablet, you must enrol your device with Office 365. The enrolment process checks that your device meets the minimum security requirements before allowing access to school emails and other resources on Office 365.

Please note that as part of the set up process you will see a number of messages relating to what CET/the school can see and do on your device. Some of these messages are default messages that are displayed on the iOS and Android operating systems when enroling a device and not necessarily what CET/the school can see and do on your device. Enrol you iOS device (eg iPhone or iPad)

  1. Download the Intune Company Portal app from the Apple app store.
  2. Open the Intune Company Portal app and log in with your School email account.
  3. You will now be prompted to receive notifications, Click Allow.
  4. Select Begin from the Set-up screen.
  5. Review the information on the “what can Creative Education Trust see” screen and then click continue.
  6. Click next on the What’s next? screen

Safari now opens the Company Portal website, when prompted to download the configuration file click Allow.

The following steps may differ depending on the version of iOS you are running.

  • For devices running iOS 12.2 and later follow steps 7 onwards.
  • For devices running iOS 12.1 and earlier follow steps 8 onwards.
  1. Open the settings app on your mobile device and select Install downloaded profile. Click Install on the profile.
  2. When prompted click install on the next two screens.
  3. Once installation is complete select done.

Now return to the company portal app to complete the enrolment of your device. Once your device is fully enroled your will now be able to access emails and other school resources on your mobile device.

Enrol you Android device

  1. Download the Company Portal app from the Google Play store.
  2. Open the Company Portal app and log in with your School email account.
  3. Review the information on the “what can Creative Education Trust see” screen and then click continue.
  4. Click enrol on the What’s next screen?
  5. On the Active device administrator screen, select Activate

You may now be prompted to create a pin number for your device if one isn’t already set up

  1. When the Company Access setup screen appears, select Continue. If a message indicates that your device is out of compliance, follow the instructions to fix the issue, and then tap Continue.
  2. On the Company Access Setup complete screen, select Done.

Your device is now enroled, and you will now be able to access emails and other school resources on your mobile device
